De PB-05 is een automatische microfoonpoorteenheid die is gebaseerd op de nieuwste optische technologie. De PB-05 is aangesloten tussen microfoon en kabel. DE Optogate is uitgerust met een infraroodsensor.

De PB-05 detecteert of iemand voor de microfoon staat en schakelt de microfoon in. De afstand kan worden aangepast tussen 15 cm en 120 cm met behulp van een instelbare trimpot. De microfoon wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld als er niemand voor staat. Een rode status-LED geeft aan of de microfoon is ingeschakeld.

De PB-05 werkt met 48 volt fantoomvoeding. Condensormicrofoons kunnen worden gebruikt in combinatie met de PB-05.

Met een kleine drukknop aan de bovenkant kan de gebruiker schakelen tussen "Mic On" en "Optogate Enable". De PB-05 is ideaal voor het aansluiten en ondersteunen van zang microfoons, microfoons bij akoestische instrumenten en spraak microfoons.

De PB-05 is de beste en gemakkelijkste oplossing voor de meest voorkomende problemen bij live-toepassingen. Het elimineert ongewenst achtergrondgeluid van andere instrumenten in ongebruikte microfoons op het podium.

Dus de helderheid van de mix en de dynamiek zullen toenemen vanwege minder fase-annulering en achtergrondgeluid. Het vermindert de mogelijkheid van feedback van ongebruikte microfoons.

De PB-05 is beschikbaar in 3 versies. Deze is de PB-05 M hebben een demping van -42 dB in de "Mic Off" -positie. De andere twee modellen De PB-05 D vermindert bij -16 dB, wat soms meer hoorbaar is voor in-ear-toepassingen. De PB-05 E is een goedkopere versie met dezelfde prestaties als de "pro" -modellen, en werkt alleen met dynamische microfoons.

The PB-05 is an automatic microphone gate unit which is based on the latest optical technology. The PB-05 is plugged between microphone and cable. It's equipped with an infrared sensor. The PB-05 senses if someone is in front of the microphone and will switch on the microphone. The distance can be adjusted between 15cm and 120cm with the help of a Trim Pot. The microphone will be switched off automatically if nobody is in front of it. A red status LED indicates if the microphone is switched on. The PB-05 works with 48 Volt phantom power. Condensor microphones can be used in connection with the PB-05. The phantom power passes the microphone. A small push button on the top allows the user to toggle between "Mic On" and "Optogate Enable". The PB-05 is ideal for lead and backing voval mics, acoustical instruments and talk back mics. The PB-05 ist the best and easiest solution for the most common problems in live applications. It eleminates unwanted backgound noise of other instruments into unused microphones on stage. So, the clarity of the mix and the dynamics will be increased due to less phase cancellation and backgound noise. It reduces the possibility of feedback from unused mics.

The PB-05 is availabe in 3 versions. The PB-05 M have an attenuation of -42 dB in the "Mic Off" position. The PB-05 D reduces the signat at -16 dB, what is sometimes more audible for in ear applications. The PB-05 E is a cheaper version with the same performance of the "pro" models. It works only with dynamic mics.
